Dealing with fear

"You've got to win in your mind before you win in your life." - John Addison
Fear has been listed as one of the leading cause of under-achievers. Failure to succeed, failure to love, failure to win etc, to the point it can be seen as a phobia for success in any area of your life. It’s not a crime to fear or to be afraid, but the crime is to allow your fear hold a good grip on you. A display of courage is necessary in tackling fear. Also remember that, courage is not the absence of fear, but the presence of fear with the will to go on. Ralph Waldo Emerson puts it better by saying “a great part of courage is the courage of having done the thing before”.
Using a technique I call mind power you will learn how to focus your mind to gather enough momentum to deal with fear. Remember we have illustrated that FEAR is an acronym for Fantasizing Experiences Appearing Real. When circumstances fear you, your mind tends to fill you with endless anxieties. Gain mastery of your mind. This is done by focusing your mind to something you are very good at. This creates a composure you would naturally have when your mind is absorbed in a problem. By so doing, you regain mental balance and you can then face the fear or problem at hand. Ability to control your imagination at intense moment is a crucial skill to be learnt.
Remember, a focused mind has no room for anxiety or for the effects of an overactive imagination.
