Ever wondered if there are other uses of a mirror instead of gazing upon your reflection to put on your make up adjust your tie or just admire your look. The so called object called a “mirror” that reflects ones images can either make you or mare you consciously of unconsciously. A young man at the age of 21 set out to compete in the Olympics; upon arrival to his trainer’s camp he was told before hand he was going to break some bones. The first few months of the training was grueling and he wanted to quit, he called his friend; I have had it, am coming back. His friend told him to get in front of a mirror and repeat after him “No matter how tough, how hard, I’m not quitting”, jokingly and sluggishly “No matter how tough, how hard, I’m not quitting”. After 10mins, the last repetition he sprang up his feet and regain composure, “The Mirror Effect”.
His repetition of those words in front of a mirror has awoken the consciousness of the control system of his mind. And he went to complete his training for 4yrs, competed in the Olympic and won in his category. The human mind believes anything or information you want it to believe, likewise the mirror only reflects the “you” you want it to reflect. I came across an interesting image of a cat looking through a mirror and the reflection seen is a lion not a cat. You see, even though the cat knows that it is a cat and a lion is in the cat family, yet it chose to see a lion not a cat, “The Mirror Effect”.
Decide today what you would like to see of you when you look through a mirror, a business man, Ceo, international speaker, a medical practitioner, a best selling author. You can achieve anything if you see yourself clearly.
