The Power Of Focus

THE POWER OF FOCUS
“You will never possess what you are unwilling to pursue”
Mike Murdock

We all have great dreams, visions, goals, but the only reason why we are not able to achieve this wonderful fulfilled plan of our is because we lack the basic ingredient for it; which is the power of Focus. Let me give you a vivid illustration on how powerful focus can be: we all know what a magnifying glass is and what it is use for, and we also know how power the Sun is when its energy is harnessed either fully or partially. Get a sheet of plain paper take it outside on a bright sunny day, get a magnifying glass and place it a little bit above the paper. If you keep moving the magnifying glass to and fro the paper nothing will happen but if you focus the magnifying glass on a particular spot on the paper with the intensity of the Sun being our source of energy. Sooner or later that point where the magnifying glass has being focused for long will burn, that the way the power of focus is. Back to our written goals, you write them down and you decide to achieve all of them without first picking out one of the goals you have written and you focus on it.
If you decide to achieve all you might end up not achieving any thing at all. But if your focus has been set clear, no force will be able to stop you; you might be delayed nevertheless, your focused plan will come to fruition. “Through great determination, even the snail made it to the ark of NOAH”. The Snail knew that if it focused its energy, it might meet oppositions along the way but the focus which is embedded in it with well-up determination to get to its destination.
As Martin Luther King Jnr. would say “Until you know what you are living for, you do not know why you are living”.
